This Cookies & Data Rights policy explains how The Perspective Authority (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies, how certain data may be used for analytics and advertising, and the choices and rights available to you under U.S. state privacy laws (including California) and international frameworks (including GDPR-style rights). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
“Cookies” are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as pixels (web beacons), tags, SDKs, scripts, and local storage. These technologies help our website function, remember preferences, understand usage, measure marketing performance, and support retargeting.
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes: (a) Essential site operation and security; (b) Preferences (remembering settings and choices); (c) Analytics (understanding how visitors use the site); (d) Advertising/Marketing (measuring campaigns and building audiences for retargeting); and (e) Business Operations (CRM, support, scheduling, payments, and fraud prevention).
Depending on how our site and stack are configured at any given time, we may use providers such as: Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager; Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel; LinkedIn Insight Tag; TikTok Pixel; HubSpot (CRM, forms, and marketing automation); Stripe (payments); scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly); and hosting/CDN providers (e.g., Cloudflare). We may add, remove, or replace providers over time.
These providers may set or read cookies and collect data directly from your browser or device, subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
Data collected through cookies and similar technologies may include: IP address; device identifiers; browser type and settings; operating system; approximate location (derived from IP); pages visited; links clicked; time spent; referral URLs; ad interactions; conversion events (e.g., form submits); and aggregated usage statistics. We may also associate this data with information you submit (such as name, email, and company) where permitted by law and configuration.
Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies (such as analytics and advertising cookies). Where not required, we may still provide a cookie preference tool and honor applicable opt-out signals as described below.
You can control cookies in several ways: (a) browser settings (block/delete cookies); (b) device settings (limit ad tracking where available); (c) cookie banner/preferences tool (where available); and (d) opt-out mechanisms provided by advertising partners. Blocking cookies may impact site functionality.
We may use advertising and measurement tools (such as pixels and tags) to: measure campaign performance; understand which ads lead to requests or purchases; and build audiences for retargeting (showing ads to people who previously visited our site).
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA/CPRA”), some uses of cookies and pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing” (and in some cases “selling”) personal information, even if no money is exchanged. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense (for money), but we recognize that certain advertising technologies may fall within these statutory definitions.
If you are a California resident, you may request to opt out of the “sale” or “share” of personal information (as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA), including use of cookies/pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit an opt-out request, contact us using the information in Section 14.
We may also honor certain browser-based opt-out signals where legally required (such as Global Privacy Control, if enabled in your browser), subject to verification and technical feasibility.
For visitors in jurisdictions that require a lawful basis for processing (including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we generally rely on: (a) consent for non-essential cookies and targeted advertising where required; (b) legitimate interests for basic analytics, security, fraud prevention, and improving the Services (where permitted); and (c) contractual necessity to provide requested services (such as delivering audits or processing purchases).
If you submit a website URL or request an audit, we may analyze publicly accessible website content (including text, structure, and metadata) to generate clarity and AI-readiness diagnostics. We do not intentionally access private, password-protected, or non-public areas unless you explicitly authorize us and provide access in writing.
Cookies have different lifespans. Some are “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and others are “persistent” cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them). We retain cookie-derived data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining business records, security, analytics, marketing measurement, and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary by provider and configuration.
Our website may link to third-party sites or embed third-party tools. We do not control third-party privacy practices. Your use of third-party sites and tools is governed by their policies and terms, not ours.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, deletion of, correction of, or information about personal data we maintain about you. California residents may also have rights to know categories of personal information collected, purposes of use, categories of third parties shared with, and to opt out of sale/share. Some jurisdictions provide additional rights such as restriction of processing or objection.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
We may update this Cookies & Data Rights policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
